Full BIO: Documentary filmmakers James Colquhoun and Laurentine ten Bosch created Food Matters TV, a revolutionary platform that gives people essential tools to take charge of their health. When James’ father became chronically ill in 2008, they quit their jobs to co-write and produce “Food Matters,” an internationally acclaimed documentary about the medical and healthcare industries. Their revolutionary multi-media hub, Food Matters TV, has become a leading resource in the natural health world with over 54 million visitors since 2008. Their latest documentary, “Hungry For Change” (2012), reveals how the diet and processed food industries are the enemies of permanent weight loss, vibrant health and natural living. Since its premiere in March 2012, the film has been viewed by more than 1 million people worldwide. James and Laurentine both studied at the Global College of Natural Health in Santa Cruz, California. The duo dedicates their lives to transforming people’s health and believes that “your body is worthy of good care and no one is more suitably qualified to care for it than yourself.” James was raised in Australia and Laurentine is from Holland.
